REMEDIATION SERVICES

The remediation services include the development of contamination investigation studies, the identification of remediation solution(s) and the execution of the remediation works in order to render the target site to its initial state before contamination.

A remediation study represents an investigation/evaluation performed on a target site, establishing the level of contamination of the soil, subsoil and/or groundwater with a view to identifying the measures to be taken in order to diminish the pollutant loads below the alert thresholds. This study is prepared according to a well-acknowledged methodology and is finalised through the writing of a report whose contents are imposed by the applicable environmental legislation.

The remediation studies developed by AUDITECO GES can include the following categories:

• Geological report of investigation and evaluation of the contamination of the soil, subsoil and groundwater;
• Assessment of the environment and public health risks caused by the contamination of soil, subsoil and/or groundwater;
• Feasibility study for the cleaning, remediation and/or ecological reconstruction of the contaminated sites;
• Technical project for the cleaning, remediation and/or ecological reconstruction of the contaminated sites;
• Technical project for the mitigation of the risks existing in the area affected by the contamination of the soil, subsoil and/or groundwater.

AUDITECO GES can provides its Clients also with the services related to the design of the selected remediation solutions, including the preparation of the technical project, as well as to the supervision of the decontamination works.
