It is regulated by Romanian law and is submitted to the Administration of the Environment Fund (AFM), which manages the Environment Fund, which is a vital source of funding for projects aimed at protecting and preserving the environment in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The environmental statement is intended to centralize information about the impact of economic activities on the environment, in particular regarding the management of packaging, electrical and electronic equipment, tires, oils and other hazardous substances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Private companies or public institutions that carry out activities with significant effects on the environment are obliged to submit an environmental declaration to the AFM. Also, individuals and non-governmental entities that are involved in certain environmental projects or initiatives may decide to voluntarily submit or may be obliged to submit environmental declarations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Failure to submit an environmental declaration to the AFM within the deadline is a contravention and is sanctioned with a fine. Non-compliance may result in the suspension or withdrawal of licenses or authorizations necessary for carrying out the activity, until the declarations and related fees are submitted and paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What information does an environmental statement contain?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An environmental statement must contain data that reflects a company's economic activities and their impact on the environment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Company identification data;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Types of products or materials produced, imported and marketed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial contributions due for each type of product or material;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data on the management of waste generated and recycled;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on environmentally hazardous substances;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data on emissions from stationary sources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation of recycling targets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The deadlines for submitting the declaration (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Steps for completing the online environmental declaration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Access the AFM website;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Completing the declaration;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select specific fields and fill in the quantities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.
