In 2025, installing solar panels on apartment buildings has become not only a viable option, but also one that is strategically supported by financing programs and favorable legislation. At a time when energy costs and climate concerns are on the rise, renewable energy is becoming an investment with a double impact: economic and ecological.

The use of solar panels on apartment buildings brings clear benefits:

– Reduced dependence on the national grid and lower monthly bills.

– Direct contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.

– Increase in the market value of the property.

– Energy independence in the face of price fluctuations and energy instability.

In the long term, investing in solar panels is one that pays for itself quickly, especially given that various financing programs are available to support several types of renewable energies.

1. The CASA VERDE 2025 program allows for financing of up to 25,000 lei per household. Homeowners' associations can receive up to 90% of the investment value.

2. According to Law No. 123/2012, as amended, associations can become prosumers and inject surplus energy into the grid.

3. Additional funding is available through the PNRR and the Modernization Fund, especially for integrated projects (panels + thermal insulation + heat pumps).

4. Current technology allows the use of hybrid panels and real-time digital monitoring systems.

Solar panels are usually installed on the roof of the building, the area that benefits from the best exposure to sunlight. The energy captured is converted into electricity and can be used for lighting common areas, powering the elevator, or even heating domestic water, depending on the type of system installed.

What's new in 2025?

How does the system work?
