AUDITECO was retained by a leading real estate developer to perform a detailed subsoil investigation at a former industrial compound located in Bucharest, Romania. AUDITECO coordinated the execution of boreholes and performed soil and groundwater sampling, with particular focus in known and assumed on-site hot spots. A total of 47 boreholes were executed and a number of 121 soil samples and 22 groundwater samples were collected. A pedological site survey was also performed and 14 soil samples were collected to be analysed with respect to pedological criteria.
Project deliverables included the preparation of a final report with comprehensive interpretation of field data and recommendations for a subsequent environmental risk assessment.
