AUDITECO was retained by a multinational consulting company to perform comprehensive EHS legal and corporate compliance audits and inspections for the Romanian facility of a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, as part of its global corporate audit program.
The program is based on a four-year audit cycle and yearly EHS compliance inspections, and AUDITECO has provided support in the program ever since 2013. The facility is located within one of the largest industrial platforms in the southern part of Romania
The audit process includes thorough site inspections, interviews with relevant EHS and engineering personnel, and reporting of audit findings. The compliance status of the facility is assessed against applicable Romanian EHS regulations and corporate EHS standards. Particular challenges faced by the audited facility were related to the continuous improvement of chemicals management, particularly VOC-based solvents, and to maintaining high occupational health and safety standards.
