AUDITECO was retained by a Client to perform an Appropriate Assessment for a for a solar park.
The Appropriate Assessment was required by the Environmental Protection Agency during the procedure for obtaining the Environmental Agreement since the project partially overlapped a Natura 2000 site. The study was conducted as required in the guideline sent by the EPA.
The Appropriate Assessment was developed taking into consideration the requirements imposed by the Ministry Order no. 19/2010
The biodiversity monitoring methodology consisted of desktop activities and several field monitoring campaigns for recording habitats and species of community interest (plants, birds, mammals, invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians) on the project site and its neighbouring areas.
