Technical Documentation for Obtaining the Water Management Authorisation

AUDITECO was retained by TRANSELECTRICA S.A. to develop the technical documentations for obtaining the Water Management Authorisations for six overhead power lines.

Site visits were performed for each of the overhead power lines. The consultant inspected the power line routes (totally or partially) and the surface water bodies crossings.

The documentations were prepared according to the Romanian applicable legislation on water management permits and included:

• Technical documentations prepared with the purpose of presenting the current water management status of the six facilities;
• Contingency plan in case of accidental pollution;
• Procedures for operating and maintaining the overhead power lines water crossings.

The documentations were submitted to the “Romanian Waters’’ National Administration which, after reviewing it, issued the Water Management Authorisations for the six overhead power lines.
